Hey River, I remember you too. I can't remember what my username was back then, but I've got a lot of old, now deleted posts, saved from back in the day of "The Two Coreys". There were quite a few trolls and several people that knew him personally, that would post back in those days. Judy (his mom) even got on here a few times to defend him, though she wouldn't say it was her. Here's an old Judy post for old times sake:
"you just won't stop, will you, you just want to keep being on corey's board, you are so mean, with a black heart, I wander if your parent know you belong to them, if you don't like corey, or anything that he does, what are you doing on this board, you have no one else to scream at so you figure that this will be your life mission, to distroy another human being, don't you have a life you are pathetic and all your little friends that are just as mean as you all of you are having a party on behalf of someone elses life, I only wish that your sharp words will come back to do to your life excactly what you wish on another, trust me one day down the road all your rotten wishes on another will come back to haunt you in a big way, I am going to make it my life mission to investigate and find out who you and miamiboy and kinfest and all you guys are, and get you off the imdb board, you are abusive and damaging to him and his family, I saw Tanya on his web site when he had one, and I saw alicia his old manager on another site, I can bet my life that it's either one of you, women scorned that are doing this, along with your buddies, pissed off as hell that he didn't want to be with either one of you. or it could just be a jelous friend that just doesn't want to see him succeed maybe because he, or she, wanted to be involved in his life somehow, and he didn't want them to, it could be whoever t1c84hat wanted to have a part of him, so you guys will talk about him taking this pill,or that, what do you know really, nothing, lets face it reveal yourself, and then let's talk, are you chicken?"
It's kind of sad to remember now. People did want to help him. -

I used to lurk back then and I remember you. There was a lot of trolling on here and it just wasn't a nice place for fans to post. It's such a shame, Corey deserved better. It's nice to see some old posters back here.
SlateRocks - Did his mum really post that? That's so sad.
I wonder if she still looks here? If she ever does I'd like to say I had the pleasure of meeting her son and he was a total sweetheart, I will always remember him very fondly. -

Yeah @corgipants, she really did post that. She never admitted who she was, but everyone knew it was her. She wasn't/isn't strong with English and her typing is a dead give away. She petitioned to have a bunch of posts removed from this board and often deleted her own posts shortly after posting them. Like I said, this was back when Two Corey's was airing. He hadn't passed away yet, but all of us knew he was heading down that path. His poor mom was in denial, I hate to say.
Here is another post of her's, I did no editing here: "you have no hearts, abviosly, you have never walked in
his shoes, or don't know him personally to pass such judjment on him, he is a
person just like you, who ever you are, with feelings, probably bigger than you,
because to me you sound like a cold hearted indivitual, it is ashame that you
don't know him as a person, because he could teach you a thing or two about

Hey imnotwithstupidanymore, you remember me. Oh man I remember all that stuff about Corey's mom. I also some chick who posted in caps ,filling the board when Corey you want too see my boobs posts. Very strange person.

Corey used to talk with me on myspace back around 2006. Yeah he was such a nice guy, and I always admired him for talking to his fans. I don't think he really knew just how many fans he had and how much we loved him.
He is the kind of celeb you feel you know personally even if you never met him.
God I miss him.

I've seen both seasons of the Two Coreys, you couldn't help coming away as a fan of both of them, I didn't have the privilege to post back then because I watched reruns much later but it's amazing to see how many fans are gathering here.

He did??what did he say? Back in the 80s there was this phone number you could call that was suppsedly him. I called and it sounded just like him so i freaked and hung up. I wasnt expecting a real voice, it was usually a recording. Dangit. I wish i could have met/ talked with him once

Super late getting back to you, but it was so neat because he would answer any questions I asked (mostly about his film work, I didn't get into his personal life).
I do remember asking him about the dig in Lost Boys and he told he he loved that dog.
But the thing that showed me he really cared for his fans was he asked ME questions! Where I was from, what I did, what I liked, etc.
A couple times he even started the conversation by sending me messages.
Pretty frickin cool to get home from work and have a true authentic personal message waiting for me from a celebrity.
And not just any celebrity, but a guy who is one of my favorites! -

Haven't been here in a while. It was fun chatting with some of you back in the day. There were some real crazy people here but really nice ones too. Nice to see some familiar names. I was bored out of my head earlier and saw an old link to the board so checked back in.
