I don't know the name of the character that he played but he was an assistant that was helping the 2 Main Scientists (1 of the Scientist was played by Bob Balaban and I don't remember the name of the Actor that played the other Scientist). He was in like 2 or 3 scenes and had like 1 or 2 lines in the Movie and that was it.
Here below is 1 video that I found (it's actually the ending of the Movie) in which he briefly appears for about 3 or 4 seconds (you will see him at 0:57 in the video below).
