Yes he was definitely included last yearhis was the final photo of the montage.
It's okay that he wasn't included this year since that ridiculous watercolor treatment was a travesty for honoring people who actually worked in MOTION PICTURES.

Yeah, technicalities that he was mentioned last awards. He died in 2014, he should have been mentioned.

Why? The Academy Award "In Memoriam" doesn't count by calendar year - - they include people that pass away in between broadcasts, not between January - December. PSH died in early February 2014, he was included in the upcoming Oscars that year.

Does PSH get an "in memory of" part in the Hunger Games credits? I just finished Mockingjay Part 2 and it wasn't in the credits. It's been do long since I watched Part 1 I can't remember if it's in those instead.
