'Lawrence of Arabia' will always be his definitive movie. But, besides that, I'm really fond of a little, less known film he did in 1990, 'Wings of Fame', which is the only full length feature film of Czech screenwriter Otokar Votocek and co-stars Colin Firth and the late Marie Trintignant. I love Czech culture and I found the film's imaginary writing to be in the country's best literary and cinematic tradition. A very interesting portrayal of afterlife.

My cinematic "chicken soup for the soul". I'm going to have a date with "Becket" tonight.

I've gotten to the point where a man must tell each girl, that she's adorable and Thomas Becket got an order to become the archbishop of Canterbury. You just got to love Peter & Richard.

Rebecca's Daughters. He's absolutely hilarious in it, especially when he is dressed as queen Elizabeth I.

I loved him most in two:
                            The Lion in Winter
                            My Favorite Year
But everything he ever did was magical!!
