This is a great song, and a great rendition that she did on the fly.
She always strikes me as being so down to earth and won't take any ****e from anyone.
I do wish more people had that attitude today with regards to what constitutes being rich.
I think this was in 1990 while she was on vacation. Her voice has stayed the same all these years. In fact, she still looks pretty much the same. What a beautiful lady in every sense of the word.

I dunno Lilith, she gives out books to children and makes sure nobody is ever hungry.
That's a real gem of a person there
Most people fake that type of behaviour but she's the real deal.

I agree with you. She's the genuine article. She doesn't do things just for the purpose of publicity. She does a lot of things quietly and in the background.
Something still tells me there's a wild streak to be had with this lovely woman!

Have you ever read her autobiography, "Dolly", copyright, 1994?
She really is the real deal, and very funny. I can certainly understand why she is loved by just about everyone. She really has a generous heart.

No, I haven't read her book, but something tells me that I would enjoy it. Not only does she have a fantastic voice, but I like how authentic she comes across. She simply is who she is. I loved her in
9-5
. That was a great movie! There isn't anything she can't do.
One reason I really like her is that she does things covertly, giving to causes, her philanthropy, her charities, and she doesn't bring a camera crew to take pictures of the event to be plastered as PR.
