I liked speed 2! Two of my fav. actors Sandra Bullock and Jason Patric and I thought it was good and so did my 3 year old Granddaughter and if you can get her to sit still it has to be good

Jason has mentioned several times, that he only accepted the role in 'Speed 2: Cruise Control' so he could fund "Your Friends & Neighbors."

I for one am glad he got the money to fund Your Friends & Neighbors, as it is a terrific movie, and one of Jason's finest performances. I give him a lot of credit for making a commercial film for the sake of his art.

I only know jason patric for speed 2. omg I love that movie, I literally watch it every day for like 5 months (personal things in the 5 months where I couldn't do anything)

I think JP is an awesome actor. Obviously Speed 2 was a commerical choice for a big paycheck and he is not alone in doing that. How could he have known it would turn out so bad. Johnny Depp has done much the same thing his entire career and Chris Nolan is doing it now too. A lot of the talented actors, directors etc do it all the time. 1 on and 1 off is a widely accepted formula for making your money then doing something you want to do. I would watch a movie with him in it before Keanu anyday.
