He has two Best Actor Oscars. A Best Supporting Oscar is garbage.

        I wouldn't call it
        "garbage"

Sean Penn was in the Ukraine.
Sean Penn receives an Iron "Oscar" 🇺🇦 from a Ukrainian Train +++
After missing his Oscar ceremony due to a visit to the Ukraine, actor Sean Penn (65) was presented with a substitute statuette. Ukrainian Railway's CEO Pertsovskyi shared a clip on X in which he presents the actor with a figure in the silhouette of the Oscar (Acadamey Award). The statuette's material came from a train damaged by Russia, Pertsovskyi says in the clip. "We couldn't leave our good friend and loyal Ukrainian railway passenger without an award." Penn thanks him for the "iron Oscar". Penn missed the ceremony for his 3rd Oscar in Los Angeles on Sunday night. He won Best Supporting Actor for his role in the political thriller "One Battle After Another".

At the Golden Globes which he attended the host made fun of him for looking old so maybe he didn't feel like showing up again to be a potential target.
