His career is will be fine. Sean Penn is a double Oscar winner with a lot of cachet. Despite what you or others think of him,he's well respected by his peers.

In my opinion it is for I have no desire to pay to see his movies anymore.
Sean Penn's career is over because johnyzero_2000 has no desire to pay to see his movies. This is the dumbest thing I've read in long a$$ time.

His career will be just fine. He never was a box office draw anyway, more like box office poison. If Tom Hanks/Cruise started praising people like Chavez and Castro, talk about the Falklands, diss republicans, interview El Chapo etc they'd have ten times as many haters. Personally, I couldn't care less. He's a great actor and director.
