    Hi,
I am a woman who is absolutely in love with Tony Perkins ( as an actor but much more as a human being ).He was simply wonderful, beautifuljust unique.
However,to your question : I do have a lot of straight male friends who agree with me.They often tell me I had great taste and that Tony was gorgeous when he was young ( and even when he was much older ).They also tell me that they find him sexy and I can tell you, they are 100 % straight. So you do not have anything to worry about.I guess it's just normal that people ( men as well lol ) do have eyes and Tony was just eye-candy 🙂
    Many kisses from Germany,
    Mony 😉

i am a straight guy and have found men attractive- basically how i decide if a man is attractive is i ask myself "would i mind looking like him" and in Mr. Perkins case i would love to have looked like him and do find him attractive.

proclaiming that someone is good looking has nothing to do with being gay or str8, and I wish more str8 men were like you and admit that other men are good looking. str8 women are never scared to say another woman is good looking. beauty does not know sexuality boundaries. for a str8 man to say he doesn't know a good looking man when he sees one is like saying 'yes, I'm that stupid, I have no concept of what good looking is'. as a gay man, I always comment when i see a stunning beautiful woman. looks are looks. period. i applaud you.

            I feel the same.
A friend of mine who is 100% straight, and him and his girlfriend are good friends of mine, well he feels the same about Tom Hiddleson, who plays Loki in Thor and The Avengers.

Yeah, basically, I'd break it down as:
You can be perfectly straight and acknowledge that another guy is good looking, in shape, etc..
However, if you are "turned on", as in, sexually attracted to the point of arousal by another man, then NO, you aren't completely straight.
You're more what I'd call "bi-curious", at least.

It's not a strange thing for a straight male to appreciate how handsome another man is [women do it all the time among themselves]. The fact that Perkins was gay doesn't make it any stranger. As a straight male I can say that Rock Hudson and Montgomery Clift were two very handsome men.
And so was Perkins. He wasn't as well built as some stars from the 50s, but he was a very good looking man.

I'm all for that. I could appreciate a good looking dude. Like take Brad Pitt in Fight Club - I look at him and go, "I see why so many women are in love with this guy." but no way in f cking hell was I ever "turned on" by him. That's what strange about it.

I don't think finding him attractive has anything to do with being gay or straight. Straight women can find other women attractive. Wanting to have sex with him would be another story.

First of all, admitting someone if the same sex is attractive shows you are secure with yourself. Secondly, it doesn't mean you are gay or bi. Third, there are reports of men who are exclusively straight who are attracted to other men but never feel the need to act on it.
I say don't worry about it. Focus more on the fact that you are a secure person who is honest with yourself. I mean really, is it a big deal? The only thing that really matters is living your life so that others aren't hurt by your actions.
