No. Jada is desperate because her husband is 47 years old and once he hits 50 he probably won't be desired for some of the kinds of roles he used to get in the past. Which could make it even less likely that he wins an Oscar in the future. She personally thought he had a good chance this year. (I haven't seen the 'Concussion' movie so I don't know how good his acting was). When he didn't even get nominated, she freaked and cried "racial bias"! If Will Smith had taken the year off from acting and never made a movie, would she have ever said anything?!? I seriously doubt it!

Got that right. She had a hissy fit strictly because her husband wasn't nominated. So Chris Rock makes a great joke about her in his Oscar monologue, and she looks like a fool.
But the movie industry is so damn sensitive I wouldn't be surprised if "Barbershop" gets a bundle of Oscar noms next year.
