Yep, definitely agree about Ben Kingsley. Not because he's bald, but for his strange variety in movies. Kingsley appears the greatest films and the beep crap, but always earns good reviews, even if the film doesn't.
Same with Donald Pleasance.

Anthony Hopkins is now getting into "Pleasence" territory..He and Ben Kingsley are both marvelous character actors given the right material. Hopkins will be playing Alfred Hitchcock and I can't wait to see it.

Taylor Lautner will be there in a few years. Give him time and the right roles.

Strangely enough after watching Will Penny, Donal Pleasence vaguely remindered me of Charlie Day and Bobcat Goldthwait.

It sort of depends on what period of Pleasence's career we're talking about. In terms of the years when he provided support in more mainstream motion pictures, I would say Stellan Skarsgrd serves a similar role today.
If you get into his latter day professional horror guest star period, it's definitely Robert Englund, who rarely carries a horror film but always gets his name above the title.
