thats not blonde at all. I had no idea that he died, I thought he had just been killed off in the movie, and I felt terrible when I found out what had really happened.
The important thing is that you've taken your time to go on this board and talk about him, and say how cool he was

Thanks. Which movie was he killed off in? Was it one of the more recent ones that just came out in late 90s? Cus i dont think i saw many of them. just resurrection adn some older ones. Yah. Stupid, huh? Im 13 and i've only seen the ones that came out before I was born(just 1, 4, 5). Dumb, huh? and I havent even seen that many of them either. Oh well. I will eventually.

weird, im 13 too!
Anyway, he died shortly after Halloween 6 was made, and so they had no idea what they were going to do in H20. I haven't seen H20 yet so I don't know what they actually did.
p.s. I recommend watching Halloween 2 if you can, it has some very memorable scenes, and Donald Pleasance's acting talent really shines in this one

I agree 13 is too young to be watching rated R horror movies. I was 15 and if my parent knew they would have killed me. I am a lot older than that now! I feel stupid being on this board with 13 year olds!
If you all want to really know what is going on you need to start with the original Halloween 1978 with Jamie Lee Curtis and watch in order to the last movie!!! It has been so long since I saw all of them so I don't remember a lot. -

I only knew he died when I rented "Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers" at Blockbuster video. I read the back of the video box and it stated, "Donald Pleasence appears as Dr. Sam Loomis in his final film."
I agree that he has had many wonderful roles and he was a very versatile actor LONG BEFORE "Halloween", but Dr. Sam Loomis was most likely his best known role. That being said, his long career has not been tarnished because of Loomis. His other roles are still remembered and appreciated by those who love his films.
The important thing is that he is remembered and missed by ALL of his fans, "Halloween" or otherwise. Don't you agree?

You probably mean Halloween 7 and 8 dusteater. 9 isn't out yet it's still in early works. To answer your question ZooLander Dr. Loomis never was killed off in a movie it was mentioned in H20 that he had passed away. The movie company changed the ending of 6 to leave it open as to whether or not Michael kills Loomis but if you have ever seen the original version which is known as the producers cut not only is the ending different but almost the whole movie. The producers cut is much better than the final version I'd recommend seeing that version over the theater version.
