Honestly, I didn't know who he was until I began watching 8 simple rules bout 3 weeks ago. Then I came on her and that was the first time that I realized he had died, then I rented Bad Santa without knowing he was in it, and now I am a huge fan.

I had seen a couple episodes of 8Simple Rules but I didn't watch it much cause at the time it was on the same time as JAG and I had been watching JAG for years. A couple months before he died I watched Three's Company for the first time a few times. But it was really after he died and I watched all the tributes and specials 5b4for him that I became a fan.

When I was a small child I used to watch Three's Company and didn't get many of the jokes until I was much older. The episode that made me laugh the most was when Jack and Janet went to some party and Jack just started dancing like a madman for no good reason - for like 5 whole minutes. It turns out the whole thing was improvised by Ritter. The man was a physical comedy genius. I used to not like watching him in serious roles as it was incredibly depressing - because he was just too funny to be the straightman!
It was a bad shock when he died two years ago. I have a special place in my heart for the talents of John Ritter. May he rest in peace. -

well, when I was about 11 (I'm 15 now) I was thinking to myself "you knowI think I'm gonna start watching an old tv show on Nick @ Nite" and I went to it and sure enough it was Three's Companyand ever since then I loved John Ritter,16d0 I would look him up on the internet and rent his old movies just to see more of him, I even have seen every episode of Three's Company, and I know just about everything about that show, I even have an autographed John Ritter, Three's Company scriptand I guess that explains how I became a fan

I'm still waiting to become a fan but since he's dead, I guess it will be a long wait until he makes something worth watching. If it wasn't for IMDB showing his b-day I wouldn't have remembered him at all.
