A Great Respect For the Man

Whether you like his movies or not, you have to hold the upmost respect for the man. The man has always had final cut on his projects, not something that is common in the business, he makes good movies, with complete control over his projects.
My respect for him comes from the fact that after wrapping "Silver City", John Sayles came by the film school which i attend, took an hour and a half out of his life to talk with a bunch of aspiring film students. While most stars would'nt give us the time of day while shooting in Colorado, John Sayles came and was more then happy to answer questions and give advice. Made the whole choosing a life of poverty more fulfilling. So thank you, Mr. Sayles, you have officially guaranteed a ticket to every one of your movies from me.
