If not for the supporting cast "Seinfeld" would probably have not even lasted a season. He's just not that funny.

I'd say more because of Larry David. The cast was great, but Larry David's writing is what made the show special.

I have to agree. I never realized how lucky he was until I saw Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and realized just about every comedian he had on the show was 10x funnier than him.
