Yes they sure did. That is true Charlotte most of the old school rap artists is not even a thought the only way people know them is if they are doing movies or if they old school themselves and know about old school rap.

Tupac was a decent actor. I thought he was great in Juice but Poetic Justice was just crap and Above the Rim, his acting was bit over the top. He pulled a solid performance in Gridlock'd but Gang Related was just garbage, although; the only thing i remember from that movie was Jim Belushi stinking up the joint with his poor excuse for acting.
Poetic Justice crap? Yes, it seemed plot less at times but the movie was not crap it's a classic. When white films do "road movies" it's done in a similar fashion but nobody's judging.
Juice + Gridlock'd are his best films acting wise.
