I'm divided on this.
Shatner is an exhibitionist and work-a-holic who, nevertheless, has lived his life on his own terms.
Despite the liabilities of his age and the condition of his heart, I have to give him credit for undertaking the mission, even with the possibility that he will be shipped to the undertaker at the end.
Depending on your impression of Shatner, he is either very brave or very stupid to do it.
I certainly hope he returns well and triumphant.
I would end by saying Live Long and Prosper, Mr. Shatner, but he has already accomplished that.
