Spader is one of my favorite actors, and the only reason I still watch
(the increasingly silly)
The Blacklist. He could entertain me by reading from a phone book or a grocery list.

William Shatner is too funny in that role
What I find so cute about Spader as Alan, is when he gives that little half of a smile.
Spader will give a big grin but Alan just gives small ones
