You are entitled to your opinion, just be sure not to confuse it with fact.

Dear guy, I've watched every James Spader thing there is. And just after Boston Legal Spader declined. His Robert California, his role on "Race", his WN Bilbo on "Lincoln", Raymond Reddington it's all the same guy. Head tilts, penguin posture, mouth twitches. He's not acting. There is no emotion to him anymore. It's pathetic. And that guy used to be my favorite actor, ever.

May be dull for you, but I still see great acting. He uses so much facial expression, his eyes, and of course his tremendous line reading whenever he actsyou sir are obsessing with the head tilt and missing everything else that is going on.

The head tilt can possibly be a case of torticollis that was never properly corrected as an infant.

My gf is specialized in visual impairment, and she told me that blind kids tend to tilt their heads to get better focus on their vision, if they hold their head straight, it's blurrier. Now, that could be why Spader does it, but it also could be simple mannerisms. I guess only he knows.. But yea, there's actual real life examples of tilting your head to get better, sharper vision when you're visually impaired.
edit: she did add, mostly kids tilt their heads that way, adults usually don't so it's most likely just his mannerism. Oh well.

I noticed that too. In fact I pictured Raymond Reddington the entire movie. I haven't seen him in anything else lately so I thought the head tilt was a " Red thing". I also found it strange that a robot would cock his head.

Yup, 5b4I saw the Spader Head Tilt in Ultron! hard to Miss.
I love his head tilt. Adds Charisma to him! Especially for like Reddington, you know he is listening to youand as soon as he puts his head straight again, he shoots you, or has Dembe shoot you..lol

I think the better question is who gives a beep?

He did it in Wolf too and now that you've mentioned it, he does do it a lotlike in everything.
Damn you! 🙂 I could have lived the rest of my life happily if it weren't for that revelation.
