I'll never forget Terrence as Zod and Sir Wildman in Wall Street!

Seems like he should've been in one of the Bond films, but he never was.

Reading this long article here it seems they had him in mind to play Zod while he was in India struggling. I wonder if it was Richard Donner who wanted him in the role and were any other actors offered? Perfect casting!

During his sojourn in India Stamp was offered very little work. “They couldn’t give me away,” he recalled, “everybody had forgotten I existed. David Puttnam offered me three grand to do That’ll Be the Day, it was a terrible shock.” He continued to live in Poona, at the Blue Diamond Hotel, until in 1978 he received a telegraph addressed to “Clarence Stamp at the Rough Diamond”, offering him the part of the evil alien General Zod in Superman.

Im glad you mentioned it. He was offered the lead Villain role in Pierce Brosnan's second Bond Film.
He turned it down and I agreed with his reasons.
They tried to lowball him. The offer they made was $ 2 Million which he rightfully took as an insult.

You mean Tomorrow Never Dies? What did Jonathan Pryce get? The bio/trivia doesn't mention how much he made.
Sir Anthony Hopkins was cast as Elliot Carver, and joined the production, but walked after three days because it was so chaotic, and there was no completed shooting script; due to the pressure on EON Productions to finish the movie on time, new pages of the screenplay were being delivered every morning. He opted to appear in The Mask of Zorro (1998) instead.
