Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Terence Stamp

I know that his IMDb page lists Terence Stamp as playing "Pekwarsky" in WANTED, but I have no idea who that character is in relation to the story. I'd assume that he probably has a pretty decent role in the film, and not just because he's Terence friggin' Stamp, but because there was an interview where he was talking about how he'll have a bigger role in the sequel.
The fact that the studio is already planning a sequel when the first movie hasn't even come out yet makes a pretty bold statement about just how good the studio thinks WANTED is; I can't wait to see it!

He plays a man who is a friend of the main character's (played by James McAvoy) fathe5b4r. He's probably got a combined screentime of about 3 minutes so I wouldn't go and see the film based solely on Stamp being in it, though the characters last scene does suggest it would be possible for him to have a much expanded role if the film does get a sequel.

Well, I'm going to see WANTED because I loved the trailer - getting to see ol' Zod is just icing on the cake. 🙂 I guess only having 3 minutes would explain why he's not a bigger part of the marketing campaign, but still, it'll be cool to see him.
Supposedly the sequel is already in the works; I guess they've already got a script or something. Sounds good to me - I love comic book movies, especially the franchises!

I think he could end up being the main characters Grandfather, while watching I waiting for this to come out. All three James McAvoy character, his father and Stamps character have the same color eyes.

Pekwarsky is the guy they meet in I guess it's supposed to be somewhere in eastern Europe, who makes them special bullets (which we see at the beginning and end of the movie, those looooooooong range sniper-rifle multi-stage ornamented bullets).
They approach him, he runs away, they pursuit, he comes out of an house entrance or something, holding Wesley at gunpoint.
                REALLY short screen time 😕
