The title says it all. This guy had an INCREDIBLE amount of potential but Hollywood has not used him enough. Either he has an incredibly poor agent or he made some studio head upset. This guy had it all. Charm. Good looks. AND acting chops. He's never risen above being a side role. One of the biggest career disappointments I've ever seen.
And now he's more than 50 all he's doing now is directing episodes of Glee.. sigh. To any budding actors/ actresses out there GET YOURSELF SOME GOOD ROLES and a GOOD AGENT! -

I really enjoy his work though. Perhaps he's very picky about the parts he'll take. Who could possibly forget him in Pulp Fiction or for that matter Somekind of Wonderful. When I see his name attached to a movie/show, I know it's going to be well worth watchingI do agree he's been woefully underutilized!

Perhaps he is not suited to the parts available, and if his career has stalled, then why would he be picky if he wants to work? I think Stoltz was lucky to have the career he had in the 80's and while he isn't a bad actor, he is not somebody who is exceptional or leading man material. This was proven with his firing on Back To The Future-85', as he just wasn't working out.
