In all fairness, the makeup department in 85 did do a pretty good job. When I first saw the movie as a little kid, at first I thought "old Lorraine" and "young Lorraine" were two different actresses.

I have not seen Lea for a while. Watching the first episode of Switched at Birth, looks like I have not seen her for 500 years500 unkind years.She used to be hot, now, think I would need at lest a fifth to get close to thatNo wonder fans say she is grumpy

I saw that too, tonight when i began watching "Switched at Birth" Around the eyes maybe? She is so pretty and it's amazing that she's 51. But i did think about her "aged" self the second i first saw her face! Interesting, was that 1985?
