As I once said: "You know how it is when you know you are really sexy? On nights when I feel great about myself, if I walk into a room and a man doesn't look at me, he's either dead or gay."
What I meant was, sexuality comes from understanding how you feel about yourself. This applies to all women of all ages - and to men, too, actually. If you feel, "Goddamn, I'm sexy right now," well, then - so you are.

      ..nice try
An intelligent person would not even make such a quote that could be misleading

Her only mistake was trying to explain herself.

I don't see the problem with this quote. Its perfectly logical, its about growing into yourself and being comfortable in your own skin. Strange but true, one can feel sexier in their 40s and even 50s than 20s. This then is part of someone's presence.

I think the quote was taken out of context too,i don't think she ever meant it in a bragging fashion. If you look at her other quotes it matches these, she said in her 50s she felt sexy as she did'nt have to prove herself to anybody like in her youth was was not at an age where women had to be attractive any longer.

Since when did self confidence become something to hold against someone. I totally understood the quote, sans explanation, and it shouldnt bother others that someone can enter a room and feel all eyes fall on them, true or not, its how you feel inside that matters, which was the point of her quote.

Don't we all deserve to feel sexy at times? Isn't it part of the biology we inherit? Why take it ill of a celebrity? Why take it ill of anyone, actually? Let us just celebrate life while we can.
