Who cares if she has aged a bit since her personal "golden age?" I don't.
She is a talented actress and has given us some pretty powerful and joyful moments on-screen.
And there have been some times where she had it pretty rough.
So the next time you think to criticize someone for having aged and perhaps not being as "attractive" as they once were, keep in mind that we all age, and YOU will also be there one day, if your cynicism and cold black heart don't kill you first.
And the next time you fawn over one of the young starlets of today, ask yourself who is braver one of those new starlets, or someone like Kathleen Turner. And then ask yourself if any of the young starlets would be so willing to be cast in a role specifically written to be an unattractive, repulsive woman who was once young and beautiful, as KT recently did in Dumb and Dumber To
If you think any of these young female stars of today would take such a role you're kidding yourself.
Kathleen is talented, brave, has been around the block, and deserves your respect. If you can't handle that, go beep yourself. -

That's another reason why she deserves some major respect
There are so many idiots on IMDb who insist on opening their ignorant mouths and insulting everyone they can, whenever they can, before they learn the facts about existing medical conditions!
Calling Kathleen disgusting, makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race.
When she did Body Heat, and became a sex symbol, she could have easily become a stuck up star, but from what I have seen in many of her other films, and interviews she has always had a great personality One so great, that even in her recent films, she tackles her current appearance head on and basically allows herself to be made fun of
In Marley & Me, she plays a dog trainer, (with the typical "Alpha Male" personality that matches her current physique and voice) which Marley challenges by knocking her down and humping her leg.
In Dumb & Dumber TO, her character is something like 20 year older, and Harry & Lloyd are shocked that she is no longer a hottie, and is made fun of by them (like every idiot on this message board)

, and Kathleen still turns out a great acting performance, through the rest of the film. (

Not many people would take roles like those, and still be able to laugh at the end of the day.
She is a great actress and has a great heart and great personality, and deserves so much better. -

I adore this Lady!!
She has been put through so much and has come out on top of her world.
As someone who was "so much more" when younger and currently living with difficulty, I admire her so much.
I would also like to point out that when men have this same turn of events physically, they are not talked down to or made to be less of a person because of their physical looks.
I find it despicable and very telling of the people who write on these and other boards about people they do not know but choose to judge.
I hope when they find themselves feeble, puny, and unlike their former beautiful selves, they are treated with grace and respect but remember how hateful they were regarding the others they judged.
