She was a gorgeous, talented actress. She is now 30 years older and has had some serious health issues. For the people making gleeful remarks about her "looking terrible" I can only think that they are glad that she no longer has the beauty of youth. Well, at least she had it then. The nasty posters probably have never had it in their lives so now they take pathetic "revenge" for their jealousy.
KT is still a nice looking woman and still a great actress.

Believe it or not it is possible to find someone physically unattractive and not have it be connected to feelings of jealousy. It's ridiculous that any time one person finds an actor/actress ugly/unattractive/et, etc, that there is always some nimrod screaming about how they are just jealous.
Regardless, I agree that it is sad how many threads are devoted to tearing this actress down over her present-day looks.

People can be so rude. She has rheumatoid arthritisa very painful disease where your body attacks and damages your joints. The only treatment is steroids and other harmful meds (biologics) like methotrexate that is often used after someone survives breast cancer. Steroids alone can cause weight gain and that puffy look. Im glad she is in remission so she isnt suffering that unbearable pain anymore. I hope she does more movies. She is an inspiration to many rheumatoid arthritis sufferers because she lead the way to bring the disease to attention of the public. Thanks Kathleen!
