Old School, Dodgeball, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers. He was so consistent for a while, then he did The Breakup which is admittedly an enjoyable enough movie, but a definite step down. Then he rode an equally consistent wave of mediocrity with Fred Claus, Couples Retreat, Four Christmases.
I agree that The Watch was a return to form, but nothing else he's been in has really even made me smile. Maybe he should just always make sure either Ben Stiller or Will Ferrell are in the movie, since that's worked in the past. -

i disagree. he's a good actor. great in hacksaw ridge and true detective. most comedy movies are so bad nowadays, as bad as the horror film genre that you can't expect much good writing because it's not about that. they just throw in random stars and duos and it sells.
