so this is how it works with actors: they start out in their 20s then when they get old looking, bald, overweight, or old looking in their face like vince vaughn they often times start playing bad guy roles in their 40s and 50s like say alec baldwin.
he used to play good guy, hero role in like the hunt for red october and the shadow but once he got old looking he started playing mostly jerkish, mean, and bad guy roles bc he lost his good looks.
also ed harris did the exact same thing when he got old looking in the '00s. he started playing good men characters in movies like the abyss and milk money but when hit about 40 and he lost his hair and his good looks on his face he started playing mostly bad guy characters.
my point is if vince was really that good of an actor he could overcome his not looking good anymore by his acting abilities and talents. so he's not a great actor.

he wasn't great actor. he didnt' have enough range. the thing is he was so great in psycho. if you have only seen him in comedic roles you have to watch him in the remake of psycho, he is perfect and amazing.
in hacksaw ridge he played a serious character but there is a part where he says something that is supposed to be serious and since i know him in comedy roles there's a look he gives and a way he says something that i couldnt' take it seriously bc he's not a great actor.

It ended when he started making political statements about his admiration for trump and the Republican Party. He thought we needed to know what a great republican he was. Big mistake. I hate him now and will never watch something with him in it

the worst thing ever is how in sports now everything is political. it didnt' used to be that way in the '80s or '90s. now everytime someone talks about heir sport they have to say something political this is so wrong and annoying. you're playing a sport just shut up and dribble.
they'll say i'm wrong to say thigs but they're wrong it's a sport it has nothing to do with politics, the same is true about acting and hollywood.
another thing about this world nowadays that sucks.

Vaughn was never considered a dashing leading man and a heart throb. The only thing about his looks which made him successful is that he could play an average joe. He was the "Everyman".

well then how do you explain the fact that he hasn't been a star in 10 years and that also is when he started looking old, 10 years ago? i think it's not mere coincidence that the time he lost his career is also the time he lost his looks. he's looked old for the last 10 years and hasn't been a star since he was in the watch and that was about 10 years ago.
