Oh my gawd, absolutely, I have seen a dozen movies with him and never before liked him until Clay Pigeons!
Wow, the guy can act. Why does he do all these crappy little nonsense films when he has such hidden talent! I will now have to search out his more obscure movies!
*So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?

THANK YOU! Finally someone who gets it! He was amazing in that role! I WISH he would choose roles with a broader range of characters He does soooo many of those main stream-predictable-buddy comedies

"Wedding Crashers" and "Old School". I hope "Into the Wild" gives him his first academy award nomination.

I'd say A Cool Dry Place is his best performance. He's also amazing in Clay Pigeons and Return to Paradise.

Swingers, Clay Pigeons, and . A Cool Dry Place (very different Vaughn)

I Love so many of his roles, but for me the best performance hands down:
Lester Long from Clay Pigeons. He was perfect! He was funny as hell, scary, sexy, creepy, charming, and psycho all rolled up into one. I don't think anyone else could have even come close to the character that Vaughn created. But that's just me.

Agree. Lester, "The Mo-lester", from Clay Pigeons is his best work to date, but Wedding Crashers was awesome.
