and I dont think she was recognized. I dont think I have ever seen her with blonde hair before. You can see her at the :45 second mark.

I remember seeing this clip on the news and I instantly recognized her (big Nana Visitor and Kira Nerys fan here). But I don't think it really matters if she was recognized or not (and I'm sure Nana would agree). Sure, if it was Meryl Streep or some other big screen actress that was being interviewed more people would have recognized her but that is irrelevant for the interview in question because it was about getting a perspective on hurricane Sandy from a human being who had experienced it firsthand and the occupation of said human being is irrelevant in this case.
As for the blonde hair, she's had it before (though I think her natural color is dark/brown hair). In fact she spent a lot of the 80's as a blonde judging by her guest starring roles in Remington Steele, Twilight Zone, Knight Rider, MacGyver, Working Girl and "The Spirit" tv movie, to name just a few. I think she looks great either way. -
