He's a dangerous combination of smug and obnoxious, why does think anyone else in Hollywood cares what he thinks about anything. Is he going to go back on Fox News to rant on and on because he's desperate for attention? Get over yourself, and try to make a movie that doesn't suck.

My father is an a-hole half the time and our political views could not be more different (he's also done some pretty hurtful things to his children) but I never once cut off contact with him, even though, as an adult, I have that power. The man may not be a saint but he always made sure we had money, fed us, clothed me in the latest fashions for school, got me gifts for my birthday and for Christmas, and made sure I was disciplined when I needed to be. I would be highly ungrateful and spoiled to abandon the man when he did all of that for me for 18 years. Most children grow up and realize just how hard it is to have kids themselves. No parent is perfect and some are far from it, but there's a line between being critical of your parents and being a brat. I think abandoning a parent who had the decency to support you for 18 years is never acceptable unless they beat you or sexually abused you.

You can disagree with someone and/or they can do things and have opinions that hurt you but you look over & around that when you love someone.
He is free to voice his feelings and opinions in this country.
It could be worse her dad could be Fred Phelps (or could have been)
I hate what Westboro Baptist Church says and I disagree with every word of it to the letter, but I agree that they have the right to say it. I don't have to like it.
