I just heard. RIP WIllie Wonka! I loved his work and he brought so much laughter when I was growing up. Now he is with Gilda

I just saw it on the MSN homepage. He was my favourite actor and it is awful to think he is no longer with us. What a great talent. His work can never be equalled in my opinion. If you haven't seen it yet - check out a rare gem of his called Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in The Bronx. It is well worth watching.

Put me in the 'just heard' gang. I was reading an article Mel Brooks JUST did 1/2 hour ago and he mentioned him. Now he's passed away.
I will miss this actor very, very much. RIP. Another great one gone.
