yeah, considering a cardboard cutout could have tackled the role she was given and been just as effective. hello, her part had virtually no lines and was in no ways necessary to the movie or storyline.

Poor Linda. What goes around, comes around. Linda didn't give a da*n about her husband Bruce, when she screwed around on him with Cameron. Bruce is better off with Kathleen now, so I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

Her role was so easy, even a caveman could have done it.
She isnt much of an actress. Nor is she all that attractive. Just plain at best.
She knew her career wouldnt last all that long, so she went after someone that would assure her future.

Linda Hamilton got divorced from Bruce Abbott in 1989. She didn't start anything with Cameron untill late 1990.

According to Wikipedia 1908(if you can believe it), Linda and James didn't start dating until 1991. The question is: was Cameron still married to Kathryn Bigelow at the time?

                    HUH?
How hard is it to sit there and nod your head when your grandmother tells a story.
How many lines did she have any ways?
                    Not too many.
If you don't have much to begin with, then you don't have much to lose.
                    So, please use your brain!

No need to be rude. Learn the facts before you start going and calling people you dont know sluts. And to get back on the original topic, yes Susan was good in the Titanic for what part she had.
She would rather be at home with her kids than making movies.

Sorry, but this thread is pathetic.
I also used to resent this actress for stealing James from Linda.
But, considering these facts, I don't anymore:
Linda Hamilton admitted to suffering from depression and even hurting physically the ones she loved. James looks like he doesn't have patience for those kind of things, so he found solace in the arms of Suzy. As of today, they have been married for seven years and have three? children, AND they look mighty happy together. James was married to Linda for only two years.
YES, James cheated on Linda, but in light of all these facts, no one was really to blame.
As for Suzy's part as Rose's granddaughter Lizzie: I believe even though her role was small, it was necessary. It showed the audience that Rose had security in her present life - that someone loved her so much that she was willing to put aside her own life to take care of her. Also, during Rose's storytelling, Lizzie's facial expressions are indispensable. There is something about Lizzie that injects peace and security into the movie.

You need to check your "facts", Linda Hamilton suffers from bipolar disorder, not depression & has been taking medication & other treatment since the mid-90s. As for James having patience of any sort, he's been married 5 times, looks like he finally found a wifey up to his high standards who is willing to put up with his giant ego. If his cast & others in the industry criticize his domineering ways so much, I can't imagine what it is like being married to him. Hopefully they are happy though, but with his history.
I did like Suzy's part in Titanic very much.

No one2000 was really to blame? Are you
                                        kidding
me? James had a choice, svetamethyst. And instead of choosing to put aside his selfishness and to stay by his wife's side, and to help her through whatever it was that she was going through - he chose to focus on himself and on
                                        his
needs and desires by having an affair with Suzy.
And Suzy is also to blame, because she
                                        knew
that James was married. Instead of saying, "no," and telling him to back off she went ahead and became his mistress - contributing to the destruction of a marriage. She knew better, but she did it anyway!
And then, of course, we have Gloria Stuart who (if the stories are true) played matchmaker for James and Suzy knowing that James was still married to Linda at the time.
And you have the nerve to say that no one is to blame?!
We're talking about two very selfish people who didn't give a damn about Linda or the marriage vows that had been exchanged between James and Linda! They saw what they wanted, they went after it, and they stepped on Linda in the process.
And who's to say that James won't get tired of Suzy? Who's to say that he won't ditch her for someone else? A, "younger model," perhaps?
                                        What goes around, comes around.
