I am currently reading I, Fatty by Jerry Stahl. I have to say it is wonderful, creative, sad, hillarious, and horrifying at the same time. Although I have to say honestly that I have not seen many of fatty's films, this book is great for anyone who loves fatty, films, or just a good book. If you have read it I'd love to hear what you think of the book.

i've read it twice and have concluded that Stahl has a lot of 'splaining to do. Arbuckle comes off as being an extremely unpleasant and depressing person. Skip this book and find a real Arbuckle biography.

I'm afraid I have to second that opinion. While I found the book to be very well written, I can't say it's anything to read if you want a serious portrait of the man.

I enjoyed it and as for it portraying Arbuckle as bitter and depressingum..I guess even the jolliest of people would be after what he went through.
