In conjunction with our Fatty Arbuckle feature film project, LIFE OF THE PARTY, we will be hosting a screening of rare Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle comedic
shorts 4pm Sunday, November 18, at the Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax.

Arbuckle was Hollywood's first "Million Dollar Man" back in 1920 and
his popularity was only rivaled by Charlie Chaplin. After being wrongly implicated in the death of starlet Virginia Rappe, Arbuckle was banned from Hollywood and his films were destroyed. The forgotten funny man has finally been rediscovered by today's generation, and he is now considered as influential as Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd. Our feature film project, LIFE OF THE PARTY, starring Preston Lacy (JACKASS) as Fatty Arbuckle and Chris Kattan (SNL) as Buster Keaton, will detail the life and scandal of this tragic Hollywood legend.
Preston and Chris, who can been seen together starring in the upcoming Yari Films' holiday release, CHRISTMAS IN WONDERLAND, in theaters this Thanksgiving, will be on-hand for the event, along with Director Kevin Connor and Arbuckle historian Marc Wanamaker for a short Q&A session. We will also be holding a meet & greet immediately following the screening.
