      1. Suspiria
      2. Phenomena
      3. Opera
      4. Tenebre
      5. The Bird With the Crystal Plumage
The only copy of Deep Red I've seen is terribly hacked up (I need to find an uncut version to evaluate). Does Dawn of the Dead count? I think that's the best film Argento was ever involved with.

        In no particular order:

        1. Profondo Rosso
        2. Tenebrae
        3. Suspira
        4. The Bird With The Crystal Plummage
        5. Inferno
I'd love to see Four Flies On Grey Velvet get a proper DVD release. I've seen it in French with Greek subs and it rocked. Maybe one day

Pretty much off the top of my head

          1. Deep Red
          2. Tenebrae
          3. Opera
          4. Bird With The Crystal Plumage
          5. Suspiria
I wasn't sure which to go for, Suspiria or Inferno? In the end I went for Suspiria, because it's more fun. Also, I haven't seen his last two films yet but I look forward to them.

1)Deep Red-In my opinion his most coherent thriller.Or for better wording-Giallo.Great cast.dedicated to the late great David Hemmings.Argento's best lead.
            5b4
            2)Suspriria-Witches,Gory Murders,Awesome Soundtrack,and that color scheme.FREAKY.
3)Tenebrae-Another of his more coherent thrillers.Great bloody finale twist ending.
4)Opera-It all comes together for this one.Lots of style.Great murders.Creepy at times.Cool opera house setting.Love that soundtrack. You'll never look though a door peephole again after this.
5)Phenomena-Underatted in my book.Too many reveiws are of the butchered US version of when it was barely released by New Line back in 1985.This is a creepy, twisted, and very-gory concoction of Argentos greatest moments.Great cast too.

                      In no particular order.
                      Suspiria-Still scary and effective
Deep Red-Possibly best all round film, great script and plot
Opera-Maybe the ultimate Argento film, has all his trademarks and often ramped up insanely
The Stendahl Syndrome-Most personal and very disturbing but at times oddly beautiful
                      The Cat O,Nine Tails-Most underrated,great suspense thriller,Argento mets Hitchcock!
