.or at least decent. He must finish with a decent movie. I really love Dario - one of my all-time favorite movie directors but his last movies disappointed

Same. I'm not even one of those people who think he stopped making good movies after the 80s. I enjoyed Two Evil Eyes, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome (his last great movie) and Sleepless. It's genuinely annoying and hurtful to me that his last few films were so amateurish and poorly done.

I agree with you 100%!!! By the way, "Trauma" is my 2nd favorite movie in his filmography, don't know why but I adore that thriller/horror. I love Sleepless & The Stendhal Syndrome too

He was pretty much consistently terrific from 1970 to 1996.Trauma isn't a favourite of mine, but it's still watchable as hell. 'Nicholas, Nicholas, Nicholas..'
I hope one day Mother of Tears will click for me. I wasn't too keen on Inferno on first watch, but now I like it despite the flaws.

"The Stendhal Syndrome" is probably Argento's last great film but i really like "The Card Player", "Jenifer" from the Masters of Horror series and to a lesser extent "Do you like Hitchcock?"
"Giallo" and "Dracula" (in 3D) are decent enough and i had fun with "Mother of tears" despite its rushed fast pace.

I hate to be a downer but from the looks of it on the official Facebook for the film, they're having trouble getting started on the movie even though they made their money from crowdfunding and it looks like Dario may have moved on from the project :(.
Makes me sad. He hasn't made a legitimately good movie since Sleepless but I still get excited every time he has something new coming out.

I know what you mean. It seems Argento lost his mind and decided to stop making good movies.
