I hate to say it but I have to agree. In my opinion, the man hasn't made a decent film since OPERA (1987), and that's no masterpiece.

Stendhal Syndrom was great and Sleepless was descent.
But yeah, Dracula was quite bad. I have some affection for it due to it being so bad, but I wouldn't call it his finest hour.
Retire? Really? What about Tobe Hooper then? That guy hasn't made a great movie since Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
