There was a message from Argento on his own website about the fall:
"Dear all, my condition isn't at all as ser5b4ious as stated on the various newspapers and internet sites: the fall only provoked a few contusions, no bones are broken and with some rest and quiet time I will be fine soon. In the meantime the preparations for my new film "The sandman", are on their way with great enthusiasm!
Speak soon,
best,
Dario Argento"

Story sounds a lot like Giallo, but that turned out to be a disjointed mess, with only a few minor flashes of old school brilliance to distract from the drabness. Oh well, Drac 3D was more vital overall so there is still hope!
Heal well soon Dario! -

He needs to stop giving a damn about being mainstream. Most of his greatest films are the result of going way off the mainstream. Amazing director in his heydays. Suspiria, Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Deep Red, Tenebre. What a list of classics. One of the few directors to make murder strangely artistic. (feel kind of a sicko saying this lol.)
