Wonder if there was a connection between what Backus knew about the George Reeves suicide\murder and if he was present that fateful evening ?

Great minds think alike for I too have wondered this same thing I'm not sure of how close he nor Henny were to George but they (or at least Henny) were friends with Leonore (AKA Lenore), George's finace.
Because of this connection they could've very well had some discussion(s) regarding this tradegy but by all reports neither Jim nor Henny were there that nightbut then again who really knows?
