Yes I certainly agree, she was stunning in Marnie and had that sophisticated look about her. She was overlooked in Hollywood. Years later I saw her again in "Silence of the Lambs", and I thought she looked familiar, then it dawned on me who she was. I love Diane Baker!!!

I just saw her in a Bonanza espisode. Reognized her but couldn't come up with her name. Thanks to IMDB I was able to look it up. But the name that kept coming to mind was Jean Simmons. JS has a UK accent and is a little bit older, but I think she and DB are both stunning of that type.
Another beautiful woman of a different type is Julie London. She's on a Laramie episode right now. Totally different visage, but at the top of woman who resemble her and not many do. A very unique beauty, and perhaps better known as a singer than actress. Not sure about that. Will have to check the Julie London page. See ya' there !

                Diane looked fantastic in
                The Haunted
, pretty damn tidy for a woman of 53 at the time. Hard to believe she's almost 70 now!
                Great actress.

I saw Ms. Baker in person recently and I can assure you that she is as lovely as ever. She still sports her trademark hairstyle, friendly smile and distinctive voice. Perfectly charming!

Class Act. She really did a great service to Joan Crawford in the documentary ULTIMATE STAR - classy lady, Ms. Baker.

Extremely attractive in "Marnie." Also, a year later in "Mirage." I think the first film I saw her in was "The Diary of Anne Frank," and I kept wishing she was on-screen more than Millie Perkins!

I said "Mirage" was a year later than "Marnie," and you corrected me by saying "Mirage" was a year after "Marnie." Let me further correct you by saying "Mirage" followed "Marnie" by a year. Would you like to correct me again by pointing out that "Marnie" was a year before "Mirage"?
