My question would be, of all the things he's done as Sam on "Quantum Leap", including a very brief stint as a hypnotist, what would he consider doing as either a side career or if he wasn't an actor?

There's a YouTube vid of him somewhere saying he would have gone into professional sport as a soccer player. He has always been very athletic and plays many sports very well.
He started studying law at college before he dropped out to pursue acting. His father was a corporate lawyer, and his brother is also a lawyer, but I don't know which field he works in.
Scott is also an accomplished singer and musician, and might possibly have found more fame in that stream of the performing arts than he knows now. I reckon now, after all his years as an actor, if he were to give that up (which I hope he doesn't, and he shows no sign of thinking about it) he would probably go into the production side of show business. He's got so much experience in performing on stage, television and film, he would probably be very handy at producing any of those.
If I could ask him anything, I'd be really interested in what he likes to do to relax. What books he likes to read, for example.
