Does anyone know that quote that is on John Barrymore's gravestone? I know that it is from Hamlet and is part of the "Goodnight sweet prince" soliliquy, but I'd like to know where in the soliliquy the quote ends.
My recently departed friend wanted the exact quote on his gravestone.
    Thanks for any help.

this website has a photo of his grave and it tells you as clear as day what his headstone says.

            good restaurant by the way.

"Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince,
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

There's a pic of his burial plot here (
                    http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=5733
) but the Trivia section states that his remains were cremated in 1980, at the behest of his son, so I suppose it's actually empty.

It's a quote from HAMLET. It's not a quote from John Barrymore.

The OP actually says it's a quote from Hamlet.
