I love Youtube! Somebody posted a rare clip of JB doing Richard's speech from Henry VI Part III. He's one of my favorite Richard the Thirds, and up until now I'd only heard this role on an old LP.

Laurence Olivier and John Gielgud were great admirers of John Barrymore, especially Olivier who was very much influenced by his Hamlet and Richard III. Despite alcohol abuse and memory loss, that magic never really left him. He could still hold court among his peers.
