Annette Bening looks, as others have posted, like she is aging naturally and gracefully. Society is delusional because of all the celebs that have relied on very expensive surgery. Also, my mom is older than Annette but looks younger. But that's because of great genes, not any special tricks. -

Folks being photographed under klieg lights with high intensity flash without the proper makeup would make anyone look like hell, from the most beautiful woman to the most handsome man. The problem is makeup,set for such lighting conditions, seen in normal conditions looks even worse. So I still think Annete Benning is not only beautiful but very smart or did you not know she is a member of mensa.

Well then.Please change her profile picture to a more flattering image. She was and always will be naturally beautiful. But the profile they chose to use isn't good.The pic IMDB chose is awful. Find one that shows how beautiful she truely is, and not that god awful doo she's wearing in that pic..

I have to agree. Theres nothing wrong with being 53, but she looks 63 and I can't figure out why. She doesn't seem like a smoker or heavy drinkerI guess its all in the genes. I'm not a celeb, but even I looked better at 53 than she does

The explanation is simple: Madonna put a curse on her.
Madonna really wanted Warren Beatty for her own and he wound up with Annette instead.
So, Madonna rounded up all her cabala, gypsy, and gothic/occult friends, and put the hex to end all hexes on her.
She would not die as a result, but she would look like death warmed over.

I think they (She) lied about her age. She looks like she could easily be at least 15 years older. Some of her revealing pics shows her age all too well. It's not so much a matter of how she ages but rather than her "real" age. I don't know, without makeup she is really old looking. Too, they keep her hair looking like she got attacked by a weed eater.

She looks a lot older than her age and has for quite awhile.There is nothing wrong with getting older, but why speed it up? She doesn't seem to do anything to help her skin. Maybe just geneticsher throat looks like shes 70, and so does her face in certain lights. Has she never heard of fraxel or even glycolic peel??

What a stupid post. First of all, completely insensitive. Second, way off the mark. I saw Annette today (4-11-14) and she looks spectacular, fresh, unadorned and needing none of the plastic corrections and excessive make-up other actresses go for. Furthermore, she's an amazing actress. Leave her alone. Get off this website.

Its genuine of Ms. Bening not to turn to surgery to slow down the affects of age. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Even though her face hasn't held up to some peoples impression of a woman's aging process, she still has a youthful zest that comes through in her movies.
She might want to lay off the cigarettes a bit because they do age one, quickly.
