O: You write about passionately kissing another woman while you were married.
V: Did I write about that? She was a good kisser. She really was.
O: Well, just tell everything.
V: Have you ever kissed a woman?
O: No. No. If I had, I wouldve told you years ago.
V: Tom (boyfriend, seated in audience) actually liked that story. He wanted to hear more (audience laughs). Afterward, the next morning, I felt so guilty that I felt like I had cheated on Ed. I think I rarely ever talked to her after that. She was a nice friend. Great lips. -

The hell? She just contradicted herself.

LOL, you read it wrong Alpha,
Look at it again. It was Valierie asking OPRAH if she kissed a woman before and Oprah said no. But yes Valerie has kissed a girl before. I saw that interview and the one on Larry King where she said it again.
I'm right, you're wrong. Deal with it! -

It is amazing to me that both shows made a big deal about one kiss. I read the book yesterday, in one sitting, as it is an easy read and very entertaining. I think Valerie was VERY lonely in her marriage. VERY. Sounds like she had very little sex for a long time. I admire her for hanging in there, and more for chosing to creat a new life for herself. Good for her!

To be fair, I don't think they made a BIG deal about the kiss, I think they really talked about it because it came from a 'innoceb68nt girl' like her and while she was married, so I think they was just naturally curious.
Anyway, I never seen a day of that show she was in and just know her vaguely, but I'm picking up that book when it comes to Asia lol! Sounds like she led more of an interesting (and sad) life than her image let on.
