I have to agree that "Moon Unit and Dweezil" are worse but getting back on topic .. Wolfgang was appropriate for when and where Mozart was born .. not necessarily for late 20th century United States .. don't even get me started on some of the names the stars have named their kids recently.

My name is Angelle (pronounced ann-jell) and I can honestly attest that I didn't get picked on any more than any other kid. My name was so unusual that kids didn't even know what to make of it. Besides, whenever I
did
happen to get picked on, it was innocent joking. I'm sure Wolfie was just fine growing up.

Dude, Wolfgang is an awesome name!! Eddie named him after his favorite composer, like any classically trained virtuoso like himself would do. If I were Wolfie, I would be proud of that. But I'm not, so I can't really judge.

Actually, Eddie's dad also named him after his favorite composer too. Eddie's middle name is "Lodwijk". Named after Ludwig van Beethoven.
Coincidently, Eddie's brother Alex uses the Ludwig brand drums Spooky. -

I liked the name for Mozart, but not now.
The kid is not attractive and that's putting it nicely. But since his father pretty much gave him a "job" as a rock star, I'm sure he'll be fine. Nepotism at its best.
Now I must give you one smirk, then we can be rational again. -

It's not really a "weird" name. It's a perfectly normal, although a bit old fashioned (60s/70s and older), german/austrian name. As it is it's just a very out of place name. But considering that Eddie Van Halen is dutch/european, not that far fetched.

Ya, it's cool for him. What luck. So many artists and talented musicians can't even catch a break, yet he just has it handed to him. May have the talent, but so do so many others. He really is a lucky kid.

On September 10, 2012 Alter Bridge and Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti announced that Wolfgang Van Halen would be filling in for Brian Marshall as bassist for the first tour of Mark's solo band. Wolfgang's participation with Tremonti continued into 2013, now permanently replacing Brian Marshall.

If Wolfie is so precious, he would do the smart thing and get Ed and Michael Anthony on speaking terms and bring back Mike to VH
So, is it Wolfie's responsibility, to do the "Smart" thing and "get" his father and his father's co-worker/former band member on speaking terms? Ahhhhhhhhhh, does Wolfie have some sort of magical or "God" like powers over others or his father that the public is unaware of? You do realize how ridiculous your statement sounds, don't you?
Eddie has a horrible addiction problem, to many substances, and is a practicing addict, in general. No amount of coaxing by his son or anyone else is going to get him on speaking terms with anyone. Eddie has had numerous problems with numerous former members of Van Halen. And lastly, why in the hell is it Wolfie's responsibility to intervene into any of his father's affairs?

Yeah it is his responsibility. PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL MIKE!
Wolfie could probably broker peace between between warring countries. He and Dave know what the fans want, Ed has no idea.
I remember after 96 MTV music awards when Dave and Ed started fighting again. Ed said he didn't want to cheat the fans and mentioned stuff about his hip replacement. Let us decide if we want to be cheated.
