But he's the subtlest kind of bigot. Basically, what he's saying is it is okay to interracially date as long as you do it for a little while and it doesn't go anywhere, aka, experimenting.

Yes, you do have problems with it. If you didn't, you wouldn't put up a thread about it. The last two thirds of that sentence are a total contradiction. Anyway, it is a cliche to interracially date for a while and then marry 2000someone same race, but the people who do that can pretend they are being "open minded." No, they're just experimenting, then being status quo. It is really open minded to like what you like and not give into pressure to like something else because it makes some people more comfortable.
I have never understood any of these ignorant opinions. If a woman only dates men of her own race, then nobody says a thing, but if she has the balls, fearlessness, and open mindedness to only interracially date then all the sudden she is close mindedit's completely ass backwards. People who only interracially date or are serious about it aren't close minded, they like what they like and don't give into the pressure of conventional, racist society. -

Considering that we're all part of the human race, it really shouldn't matter what complexion a person is, nor whom they're attracted to. I don't think she hates herself at all. You can't control what you find physically attractive in a person. If someone likes green eyes, does that mean they hate their own eye color? No it doesn't. Honestly I think people need to worry about themselves and not other peoples lives.
This post also indirectly promotes racism. Please don't try to goad others into make racist remarks. -

I'm Black also and the way I see it there are basically TWO types of people who date outside their own ethnic group (I say "ethnic" because "race" the way people use it nowadays does not exist) ONE: people who may have a PREFERENCE to date some other ethnicity. That doesn't mean they are racist or adverse to dating someone who looks like them. Me,I PREFER Black women but that does not mean I don't think there aren't any attractive White,Asian,Hispanic,etc women. I just PREFER Black women. The SECOND type of person IMHO seeks to identify with the ethnicity of his or her choice. To them it may be a status symbol. IMO I think Traci fits into this category. I can't say if it is "self-hate" or whatever but she definately has something going on in her head. I notice that she always plays up her "Indian" heritage. I notice that with a few celebs of color,especially female."I 1/3 German,2/8 Blackfoot,1/4 Russian,etc" I know the math doesn't add up it's ridiculous math for a ridiculous break down. Me,I'm a Black Panamanian man. That's it and I wouldn't want to be anything else.
