I hope they can convince him, JJ Abrams gave the same excuse when asked about Star Wars and look at him now. Danny is one of the most respected and well-known modern English directors with Christopher Nolan as his only real major competition. It's so insanely perfect that he should helm at least ONE Bond. He feels even more fit for it than Nolan.
