I always thought she looked ugly in The Wizard Of Oz.

Billy was a class act. I can only dream to look that good at 54.

Lucille Ball was nearly 40 y.o. when she began I Love Lucy. Age is so over-rated. I find them both beautiful.

And this was back in the days before botox and such!
Wow she looked like she was in her 30s and Lucille looked like she was in her late 20s!

Completely agree. The most shocking revelation to me was Mae West. When I discovered she was born in 1893, before they even had the Model T, I was simply flabbergasted. That means she was well into her 40s when she became famous but no one really thinks of her and remembers her "being old". She must've been 46-47 when she made My Little Chickadee. And then you have modern tarts such as Megan Fox, already having Botox and barely able to legally drink for 2 years.

She was definitely beautiful. And in the 1930's, before botox, retin-a, veneers, and all the high tech things that women (and men) do to keep themselves looking forever young and fit that she would look so elegant and do such a great job is such a testament to real talent and natural beauty.
